Famly:

At Longwick Pre-school, we believe it’s important for our parents and carers to have a little insight into pre-school life.

After reviewing how best to communicate our children’s progress at pre-school with their parents and carers going forward, we implemented the market-leading nursery software package called Famly from Autumn Term 2022.

Famly is application based and allows for improved communication, management and administration of our pre-school.

As parents, you will be able to download the application onto your phone or device and you will view photographed observations and descriptions of your child experiencing activities and you can also comment on them too! You can message staff members instantly and they can message you back. You are able to see that your child has visited the toilet/had their nappy changed, what they’ve eaten at snack time and it will also record if unfortunately your child has had an accident that day which you will be notified of directly. Lastly, you can use the app to record your child’s absence that day due to sickness or of they are on holiday without having to email or phone the pre-school.

We are very excited about this new software package and we hope you, as parents/carers, will find it user friendly and informative as you get a glimpse of what your little ones are experiencing!
